Building websites or blogs to make money online is a bit of a gold rush at the moment. Everyone’s reading about it and trying their hand at building a web business. Many fail quite early on because they’re lead to believe that it’s all quick and simple. It is simple but it’s definitely not quick.
The initial stages of building web pages and writing content are easy and enjoyable, but it’s when you come to the traffic building stage that people get stuck and tend to give up. Building traffic is a labourious task that takes a lot of time, but the worst thing about it is that you won’t see the fruits of your labour for months.
Obviously there are different areas within traffic building, like SEO (using keywords in your content) and link building. In this article I’m going to talk about link building. Link building is when a web master gets as many links as possible from other websites to point to his own site. By doing this the Google algorithm can see that his site is popular and therefore relevant, so the site gets ranked higher in the organic searches. This gets him more vistors (for free) and therefore more money.
To build links most webmasters will find websites that are similar to theirs, in the terms of information, and email the webmaster asking to exchange links (you put their link on your site, and they do the same for you). However you’ll find that most people won’t bother replying because they don’t want to link to website with a low PR (Pagerank) which is what you will have.
But it’s ok because there are other ways to get inbound links. You can write articles like this one and place your link in the resource box at the bottom. I can then submit this article to lots of different article directories and that will count as a link for each submission. So with one article I could potentially build maybe 30 links.
There is also forum posting, which is fairly simple. Go onto to different forums (only ones that relate to your site) and post useful information but place your link at the bottom of each post you make. Each post will count as a new incoming link. Just make sure what you’re saying is useful, otherwise you’re just spamming. Also similar to forum posting is commenting on blogs. It’s the same principle but just using the comments section at the bottom of someones blog post.
And lastly you can submit your site to different web directories. These directories are pretty much just like telephone books except for internet sites. It’s a simple process of following the steps they provide.
*One last thing before I finish. When you’re placing your link, make sure the text that people will click on contains the keyword phrase your site is optimized for. For example if my website’s main keyword is “Build Muscle” I would make that the clickable text that links to my site. The search engines like this, it makes the link more powerful.

You would pull up a chair and listen right? Well pull that chair up because what I’m about to reveal to you could just change your life.
What I’m talking about is a 15 step system that anyone can use to earn thousands every month. It involves something that many marketers have gone away from and for what reason I simply do not know. The system involves writing free reports that you can use to promote a product of your own, an affiliate program you have found or anything else for that matter. It’s a 15 step system that if followed could easily improve your financial situation. Ready, here we go.
1). Generate the content idea that everyone wants to read – Find out what is a hot topic in your market make that the focus of your report.
2). Determine the type of report you want – Is it going to be a tips report, a tutorial (step by step), a resources report or a report full of expert interviews.
3). Compose a simple outline to fill in the blanks later – This is just like you did in school. You’ll have a title, introductory paragraph etc..
4). Choose a title that simply can’t be ignored – Does your title leave the reader wanting to take a closer look? Does it promise to meet the need of the reader? Does it offer specifics?
5). Write an attention grabbing open sentence – For example, “I just couldn’t believe that it really happened” or “You’ve been lied to and now the truth is coming out”.
6). State the primary objective of the report by introducing a problem – What I am referring to here is to very briefly share a problem and explain that with your information the problem will be solved.
7). Build your content by filling in the blanks of your outline – Write with someone in mind like a friend. Be sure to inject your personality.
8). Include references to free resources online – Throughout your report, you’ll want to mention free resources that are available on the Internet that your readers can access.
9). Soft-shell your own products or affiliate program – While in your reports you want to focus more on providing quality content than in cranking out a sales letter, you will want to mention at least one product that you’ll earn more from if the reader buys.
10). Write it up with a lingering closing – In your closing paragraph you want to write something that the reader will remember for a while. Something that they can “chew” on for the rest of the day.
11). Blatantly advertise your product or affiliate program through a sponsor ad – At the very beginning of your report, you can include a sponsor ad for the report that basically promotes anything you want.
12). Proofread for grammatical and typographical errors – Always do a spell check with your word processing spell check tool.
13). Prepare your report for distribution – You can either set the report up as a short e-book or cut it up and send it out in an autoresponder.
14). Build a home for your new report – You want to set up a separate landing page the draws the visitor in with a good heading and beneficial bullet points.
15). Get your report into the hands of thousands of future customers – You can do this through solo mailings to other peoples ezine list’s, pay per click, forums, send a mailing to your own list etc..
So there you have it, a sure fire 15 step system for making more money online now. It may seem like a lot but it really isn’t. Once you write your first report and see how easy it really is, you’ll be hooked. Now the only thing left for you to do now is to create a product of your own or an affiliate product to promote. On top of that the seller will limit the amount that you can buy of the product. Continue Reading »When I get up in the morning the first thing I ask myself is “what are 5 things I have to do today to gain more traffic to my website”. All 5 are things that I just hate to perform.
Why would I hate them? Because I am lazy and I would rather go the beach and do nothing. I want the shortest road, the quick way, the get rich by doing nothing.
You know, the lazy mans way to riches.
Well I spent a lot of time hoping that things would just happen without any work. This brings me back to the things I hate to do but are a must if you want to succeed at making money online.
I have made a conscious switch in my mind that the things I hate to do I now love. The 5 things I love to perform each day are….
1. Writing and submitting informative articles are now the top task I love to perform each day. I found a simple strategy to help me pump out 5 articles each day. When I start I will take my topic for the day, “link building”, “free traffic”, “article marketing” and then search on Google for information about this topic. Once I find a nice article or press release I will read it and then add 5 bullet points to my text editor about that article. From there I just start typing, not worrying about how bad my spelling or grammar is. With this I can type out a nice 500 word article in about 15 minutes. And this is good fresh content that I can post to articles directories.
2. Twitter and Facebook are 2 website that you must start to love. These sites are the place that “ALL” people on the internet hang out. This is the best place to drop a few lines of text and add in a link back to your website. Love em or hate em, these sites have massive amounts of traffic.
3. Everyday I love to update my personal blog and all the other free blogs. I like to use WordPress.com and Blogger.com, both are free and they will let you take your new article and add it to there site. With your link at the bottom… of course.
4. What I hate the most but I fight through it, and now I love is answering questions on Yahoo. Why do I hate it, well because I want to be on the beach and not answering question on Yahoo. But doing this will get you some big time traffic back to your site. Try and be the first to answer a question and add your link as the source.
5. What I really do love the most is posting on forums. This is a place that I can talk with like minded people who share my common interest. And its a place that I can promote my websites. The signature at the bottom of each post has my link back to my site, so the more I post the more my link shows up. I try and set a goal that I will respond to at least 10 new threads each day.
Can you believe it? These are the things I hate to love each day. What I find so funny is I struggle to get them done and they only take about 1 hour out of my day. But once I am done then I have the rest of the day to go and play at the beach.

These jobs are often found in the creative fields. Artists, writers and musicians spend most of their time with only their latest creations for company. Of course, each artist and musician must have a public persona to be used when displaying their wares. But there are many other solitary jobs to be found if the seeker looks into areas of personal interest.
Other solitary ways to earn money tend to be found where most people would prefer not to be. This does not limit a person to mortician’s helper or night stock-boy at the local supermarket. But these jobs can be hard to find. They are usually found in small niches, rather than in corporations. Chances are, when a person finds a suitable one, he will want to keep it.
Useful question number two-Do I intend to work as an entrepreneur, or will I work for someone else? This decision boils down to whether or not you want the responsibility of being your own boss. Many people prefer to work for institutions, construction, government, retail or the service industry, among others. They enjoy the advantages of a regular payday without the administrative hassles of being in charge. However, in our world today, most employers demand a certain amount of expertise from their employees. That is why this type of employment may require training, education or apprenticeship.
Useful question number three-What are my financial expectations? Although the latest guaranteed moneymaking scheme we hear about may tantalize, few of its promises will have time-proven results. These big ideas often fizzle, leaving many disappointed people in their wake. There is no harm in being open minded enough to investigate the big attractions that interest us. But we want to keep a tight reign on expenses for unproven systems. Most people expect to make a comfortable living in order to enjoy an acceptable lifestyle. When this is the case, they must be prepared to exert steady effort before attaining that goal. Serious career preparation is available through qualified agencies. It is their job to help money making candidates to choose wisely.
Useful question number four- Where do you see yourself fitting into the money accumulation game? Will you study to become an expert? If so, your expertise will be a great launch-pad for your entrepreneurial efforts, or you can hire it out. Will you find a more instantly accessible job for its quick returns? There is always a demand for workers in that sector of the marketplace.
A little soul-searching now will pay off enormously as you choose your method of making money in today’s widely varied work force. You can ask yourself these questions ahead of time when you plan to take an employment aptitude test.

Well, let me tell you something for nothing. It has NOTHING AT ALL to do with luck.
Some people were ‘born to lose’ so to speak. Online they will spend their money on an opportunity sent to them by some clever marketer then make no money from it. Then they will go and spend some more money on another opportunity sent to them by some clever marketer and make no money from it. Then they will go on and on and continue this circle of waste and failure until eventually giving up and keeping to their ‘real job’.
Then there are other people who do make money. People who make ridiculous amounts of money every single day, every week, every month and every year. Now I don’t count myself in the ‘ridiculous income’ bracket just yet, but I have made over $150,000 online so far this year so I am going in the right direction.
But what makes some people so successful? What separates them from the people who never make a dime?
Well the answer is more simple than you would ever imagine. They are not exceedingly lucky, and they will not have answered an ad or email offer promising them millions of dollars before breakfast if they would only send someone their money right away (the typical get rich quick promise).
What most of them have in common is a simple grasp of the basics of business and the will and belief to stick at what they are doing. And that is not difficult, believe me. It beats the hell out of doing a ‘proper’ job to make money. With online businesses you MUST remember that there is no ‘magic’ or ’secret formula’ that will make everyone online rich.
Yes, there are plenty of people telling you that there are and that they will tell you how to do it if you send them $50 or so. But guess what? They don’t work. It just isn’t possible. The internet is a brilliant communication tool but at the end of the day a business is a business. For someone to make money someone else has to spend it. Period.
So how do you get yourself up into the ranks of the earners instead of the spenders?
COPY WHAT THEY DO!
Stop spending on multiple opportunities that don’t make you any money, stop wasting time reading the emails and scam websites offering to make you rich overnight, and concentrate your time and effort on something that REALLY works.
Easier said than done? – Not necessarily.
Within the pages of my daily blog I have recommended certain opportunities. I recommended them because I use them and know that they DO work. All you have to do is choose the one that you think suits you best, that does the sort of thing that you want to do, and then follow the instructions to the letter. Stick at it and don’t be distracted by the numerous offers you will still no-doubt receive by email, and concentrate on building up your income slowly but surely, month by month, until you can afford to live on your online income full time.
When you can be disciplined enough to to this, YOU will become one of the earners instead of just one of the spenders in this massive online marketplace.
Now that you understand what you need to do, go and find something that you will be happy to concentrate your efforts on.
